This spring, don’t miss out on the delicious drink and food festivals that are popping up throughout the Chicago area! Check out the full list below:

Mole de Mayo Festival (May 24 – 29, 2019)
Location: 18th St & Ashland Ave

The 9th annual Mole de Mayo festival will kick off in May! Taking place in Chicago’s historic Pilsen neighborhood, the festival will feature local chefs competing against each other to see who can create the best mole.

 

The event will also include some of the city’s finest food vendors and an open-air market with local Pilsen businesses and crafters.

Lincoln Park Greek Fest (May 31 – June 2, 2019)
Location: Sheffield between Diversey & Schubert (Lincoln Park)

Try some of the best and authentic Greek food in Chicago at the Lincoln Park Greek Fest! This event features live music, dance performances, and tasty dishes like hummus, gyros, and baklava.

 

“The Lincoln Park Greek Fest brings all the aromas, sounds, tastes and traditions of Greece to your doorstep,” as stated by the press materials.

Taste of Little Village (May 31 – June 2, 2019)
Location: 26th & Sacramento (Little Village)

Taste of Little Village is an exciting event that features some of the highest ranked Mexican cuisines in Chicago.

 

Delicious options include enchiladas, flautas, tacos, tortas, and traditional dishes, along with live bands, entertainers, carnival rides and arts and crafts.

 

A few of the many incredible vendors are La Barca El Taconazo, Taqueria Los Comales, Margarita Portillo, and Taco Nietos.

 

Chicago Rum Festival (April 27th, 2019)
Location: Logan Square Auditorium

This year marks the fifth annual Chicago Rum Festival! Over 50 Rum expressions will be served at the Logan Square Auditorium.

 

Guests can choose from three events to attend. The Spirit Industry Session consists of a 1.5-hour program that gives professionals the opportunity to network with representatives, attend training seminars, and taste a wide selection of rum.

 

The second option is the General Admission “GRAND TASTING” session. This session includes a 3-hour program that gives attendees the chance to taste .25oz pours of rum, attend educational seminars, and enjoy the music.

 

The third option is the VIP Grand Educational and Tasting Session. This features a 4-hour program that gives guests all of the parks that come with general admission, as well as a VIP souvenir glass.
