The city is home to an unbelievable amount of restaurants which allows for diverse dining options and culinary experiences. Not only is there a variety of cuisine options but, given its central location, Los Angeles is also known for incredibly fresh produce and a long list of well-known and talented chefs and restaurateurs. From exciting street food to high-end fine dining, downtown Los Angeles has it all. For a local favorite food truck option, try Kogi BBQ, which now has four food trucks that cruise around Los Angeles serving a fusion of Korean and Mexican food. For fine dining try Orsa & Winston, a Michelin Star restaurant serving sustainably raised seafood and locally farmed produce.

With no shortage of things to do, a visit to downtown Los Angeles is always exciting. A visit to the Music Center Plaza will provide you with outdoor performances and shows and, when Covid restrictions are lifted, they will resume with Broadway musicals at the Ahmanson Theatre, dramas at the Mark Taper Forum, and operas at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Art lovers will enjoy the Museum of Contemporary Art which is home to thousands of artworks dating back to the 1940s. At sunset, you can enjoy a stunning view of the city skyline from Pershing Square Park which hosts events throughout the year, including farmers markets, summer concerts, and a winter ice skating rink.

A popular LA event to attend is the Los Angeles Auto Show, happening from November 19-28. The event will also provide video games, virtual reality demos, and kid’s play zones to keep everyone in the family entertained. For exotic car lovers, Galpin’s Hall of Custom features mind-blowing gadgets, unique customizations, and unbelievable color creations, all of which can be done to your own car. The massive amount of exhibitors will include the ArtCenter College of Design, EspoResto, EVgo, and Sondors, to name a few. “The Garage”, found under the South Hall, is the place where auto enthusiasts can explore customized vehicles, collectibles, and aftermarket goods and services.
