The firm’s goal was to remain authentic to the Cipriani brand.
“Everything in the building is consistent with the Cipriani DNA, from the Venetian design of the lobby with Canaletto timber accents, terrazzo flooring and signature blue, walnut and camel color tones to the Murano glass chandelier hanging in the main entryway, emphasizing the aesthetic that Cipriani loyalists enjoy and are well accustomed to,” said Leo Bertacchini, principal of 1508 London.
1508 London dedicated its expertise to curating two distinct interior packages for Canaletto Collection units, focusing on the design of bespoke furniture and accessories.
“The first is named ‘Tradizionale’ in the signature Cipriani style, featuring the camel, bronze, and blue tone hues throughout the collection,” said Bertacchini. “The second, ‘Contemporaneo’ is lighter, more high contrast, yacht- and naval-inspired and aligned with the overall building’s aesthetic, like with the primary bathroom’s book-matched stone.”
Within the Canaletto Furniture Collection
One such piece is the “beautiful side table which was inspired by the structure of the support system underneath Venice, designed to lift the city out of the water and keep it afloat,” explains Bertacchini. “Its geometry was super interesting, and it got us sketching until we got the final furniture piece. We love the result.”
One of the gems of the Canaletto Collection is Penthouse 1, which is currently listed for a Brickell-record-setting price of $3,333 per square foot. In addition to the 4,888-square-foot four-bedroom and five-and-a-half bathroom interior, the penthouse also includes a 4,333-square-foot outdoor terrace with an infinity edge swimming pool and a summer kitchen.
Each unit within the collection will be a stunning creation. These two-, four-, and five-bedroom homes start at $3.326 million. The residences are expected to be completed by 2026.
