Academy Award-winning actress Emma Stone, who just received an Oscar nomination for her compelling performance in Poor Things, a highly awarded film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, has added another reason to celebrate. She swiftly listed and secured a buyer for her quintessentially charming Los Angeles pied-à-terre.
The prominent starlet listed the nearly 3,300-square-foot property, nestled in the coveted Westwood neighborhood, for just under the $4 million mark with Eric Lavey of Sotheby’s International Realty. Within just 10 days on the market and after a single open house that drew more than 100 attendees, the stunning home found a buyer.
Built in 1926, the captivating Spanish-style home features four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and retains numerous original details such as beamed ceilings and a terracotta-tiled courtyard. While the home is classic in nature, since her initial purchase in 2019 for $2.3 million, Stone upgraded the property’s elegance. According to the listing, the kitchen’s expansion included vaulted ceilings and ample room for in-kitchen dining space. Also, a guest house was built at the rear of the property, complete with an en-suite bedroom, living room, full kitchen, and laundry room.
At nearly 100 years old, the Spanish-style home underwent a whimsical transformation under Stone’s imaginative touch and flare for design. The interiors now showcase enchanting mint walls, turquoise furniture, and candy-colored pink accents, creating a cheerful yet sophisticated atmosphere. A second-story balcony surrounded by lush greenery, a classic wood-burning fireplace in the living room, and a white claw-foot bathtub in the primary suite further add to the property’s romantic charm.
Currently starring in the new television series, The Curse, Stone and co-star Nathan Fielder portray a newly married duo facing comedic and thrilling challenges as they embark on creating a new home-flipping show. While The Curse is fictional, Stone’s real-life engagement in the real estate world is far from fiction, having purchased and sold properties in New York, Los Angeles, and Austin.
Adding to her successful real estate ventures, Stone recently sold her mid-century Malibu beach home in 2022 for $4.425 million, exceeding the initial asking price by over $200,000, just a month after the property hit the market.
