Many are located along the city’s waterfront providing outstanding views and keeping the shoreline in pristine condition.

For those who want to take advantage of the lake during the summertime, a wide variety of activities are available on Lake Ontario. Rent a canoe or kayak on the Harbourfront and explore the city from afar, paddleboard to the Toronto Islands where you can get a beautiful view of the Toronto skyline, or go on a boat cruise. You can also rent bikes and take a 3.5-hour tour of the Toronto Islands where you can learn about its 200-year-old history while enjoying the always breezy weather. Located only half an hour outside of Toronto is Bluffer’s Park Beach, where you can swim in the ocean or hike the Scarborough Bluffs.
