The Charles Schwab Challenge is Right Around the Corner

From Monday, May 20th, to Sunday, May 26th, Fort Worth’s historic Colonial Country Club will host the Charles Schwab Challenge. As part of the annual PGA Tour, this year’s tournament offers two exciting pro-am events, giving amateur golfers the chance to compete alongside professional players on the esteemed course.

The 2024 tournament features an impressive lineup of players from around the world. Expect to witness golfing titans such as Adam Schenk, Harry Hall, Rickie Fowler, Paul Haley II, and last year’s victor, Emiliano Grillo, showcasing their skills on the meticulously manicured greens.

All players at this year’s Charles Schwab Challenge will compete for the esteemed Champion’s Prize—a coveted 1975 Schwab Stingray—along with other impressive rewards like the Scottish Royal Tartan plaid jacket and Colonial’s Leonard Trophy.

Boasting unique Schwab badging, handmade upholstery, and a custom console with the champion’s nameplate engraved, the 1975 Schwab Stingray promises to ignite the competitive spirit of each golf titan. This year’s choice of Champion Prize pays homage to 1975, a pivotal year that revolutionized Wall Street and paved the way for Charles Schwab to make investing more accessible to the general public.

Named in honor of golf legend Ben Hogan, the Ben Hogan Pro-Am, scheduled for the 20th, pays tribute to his legacy and impact on golf. This private event will offer players and their guests VIP treatment and exclusive access to the course. On the 22nd, the Colonial Pro-Am provides participants exclusive access to the Colonial driving range, setting the stage for the unforgettable experience of playing alongside two PGA Tour players during their round.

Indulge in refreshments and beverages available throughout the Charles Schwab Challenge at various food trucks, concession stands, the Villages, and the Patio Club.

Tickets to this prestigious tournament start at $50 for a single day of general admission, with VIP packages beginning at $325 plus additional fees. Slots are filling up fast, so secure your spot early.
