How’d you get started in the food social media industry?

We made our Instagram in 2015, and we got started just by being food lovers, always taking pictures of what we were eating. Social media was just the natural way to show people what we were eating.

Do you have a particular type of cuisine that is your favorite?

We love sushi always, Italian is another favorite. We really love all food it’s so hard to pick a favorite but each one of us have different top dishes.

What restaurants in New York do you think are musts for those visiting the city?

If you visit NYC and don’t get pizza you’re doing it wrong! Try a classic like Joe’s Pizza or Johns of Bleecker or for our favorites F&F or Lucali in Carroll Gardens. Many of our top spots you need to book a few weeks out or go early for a table but 4 Charles for their burger, Lilia, or Don Angie.

What changes have you noted in the New York restaurant industry since the pandemic began?

That outdoor seating is here to stay! We love how creative restaurants got.

What is your favorite thing to cook at home?

We all love comfort food, pastas and warm dishes for the winter. We love the Gigi Hadid vodka pasta and sister Madison makes phenomenal chicken cutlets. We also love trying the trends on TikTok like the grated egg or green goddess salad that people are going crazy about!

What do you think sets New York apart as a food city?

How fast restaurants close, open, and lose their exclusivity. Luckily, there is always something new to try!

Outside of New York, have you been to any other cities that have wowed you with their food?

Yes! Tel Aviv, London, New Orleans, and Charleston to name a few!

Our Instagram and TikTok! We don’t believe in gatekeeping but we know people get a little bummed when we share their “hidden gems”.

What is your all-time favorite dish?

Don’t make us pick one! That’s just cruel!

How has being a food influencer changed your relationship with New York City?

Our relationship with New York City is a lot less intimate since we’re constantly sharing our experience on our channels.
