Chicago’s Luxury Developments Slated to Open in 2019

Chicago’s luxury market is set to undergo a boom with apartments that will be available this year. Known for its skyscrapers, the latest luxury developments are reshaping the city’s iconic skyline with it’s impressive heights. We’ve put together a list of Chicago’s luxury developments slated to open in 2019.

Opens: Spring 2019

Developer: Crescent Heights

Architect: Rafael Viñoly

At 70,000 sq ft, Nema boasts luxury residences decked out with high-tech features and endless amenities. The 76-story apartment building is located in Central Station, in downtown Chicago, and hosts 800 units designed by interior designer, David Rockwell. The Chicago native focused on incorporating sustainable materials into the design of the apartment tower.

Developer: Related Midwest

Architect: Robert A.M. Stern

This residential tower situated in Streeterville, overlooks Lake Michigan and the Chicago River. The scenic views afforded by the prime location of the 339 unit building – 60 condominiums and 279 rentals –  is further enhanced by the designs of Robert A.M. Stern. One Bennett Park exceeds expectations with amenities that captivate the best of luxury living. A 10,000 sq ft deck features an outdoor pool and lounge area, cabanas and fire pit. Dog enthusiasts will be pleased to see that the luxury amenities also extend to their furry friends with an indoor area for dog walking, daycare and grooming.

Developer: Lincoln Property Residential

Named after its address, 1133 South Blvd., Eleven 33 is the latest luxury building to pop up in Chicago. Located in Oak Park, 252 units ranging from studios to 3 bedroom apartments will be in the mixed use building. It will also feature a fitness center, a garden terrace, yoga room and gated entrance.

Architect: Solomon Cordwell Buenz & Associates, Inc.

The glass facade of South Loop’s luxury tower stands out among the numerous buildings to be erected this year. Other unique features of the 500 unit building include a co-working space, library, a spa and dog park. At 47 stories, The Paragon will have 188 parking spaces and is built to meet LEED Certified standards.
