Little Nonna’s is an Italian-American restaurant in Midtown Village, right in Center City Philadelphia. Chef Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran, a pair that has been working together for about twenty years, opened Little Nonna’s in the fall of 2013, and it has been thriving ever since. The pair have opened nine successful restaurants and boutiques on 13th street, including Barbuzzo, Lolita, and Jamonera. Little Nonna’s has amazing dinner, drinks, and dessert menus with classic dishes such as spaghetti and meatballs and their Sunday gravy dish. Since re-opening during the pandemic, they offer outdoor seating in their beautiful courtyard with lots of greenery and decorations, hidden from the busy streets. They are currently open from 4 pm until 10 pm every day for dinner. Little Nonna’s is the perfect restaurant to escape reality in the tucked-away courtyard and enjoy a delicious Italian meal.
