Visitors will enjoy the city’s many festivals and events throughout the year, including the Sisters Folk Festival, the Sisters Rodeo, and the Holiday Palooza

McMinnville

McMinnville, nestled along the Yamhill River, is another notable destination in the heart of Oregon’s wine country. Its historic downtown area has many attractions, from antique shops and wine stores to delicious eateries and fantastic art studios. During the holidays, the city buzzes with a festive atmosphere, featuring downtown parades and light displays that enhance the beauty of this popular destination.

Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach owes its status as one of Oregon’s most popular coastal destinations to the iconic Haystack Rock, which stands just off the city’s shoreline. But while many head straight for the beach, you will also want to make sure you explore Cannon Beach’s downtown. This pleasantly walkable area includes boutique shops, an excellent local arts scene, ample appealing dining destinations, and several live music venues.

Astoria

Astoria is at the mouth of the Columbia River, where it empties into the Pacific Ocean. Its vibrant downtown area further enhances the city’s pleasant coastal small-town feel. Downtown Astoria offers a little bit of everything, from world-class coffee shops and local breweries to upscale clothing stores and locally caught seafood restaurants. For those interested in exploring the city on foot, head near the riverfront to witness incredible views of the spectacular Astoria-Megler Bridge.
