A Look at the Boise Real Estate Market

In Boise, home prices experienced a significant surge in 2022, followed by a slight decrease or stagnation in 2023. As of the start of 2024, this trend persists.

According to Redfin, the median sale price for a home in Boise was $467,500 in January 2024, showing a marginal decrease from the previous year. The slowdown is attributed to a general cooling of the housing market and less migration to Idaho. However, Boise’s market remains compelling to buyers, despite a normalization from the unprecedented pandemic conditions that initially spiked prices.
