The Milwaukee Boat Show: Wisconsin’s Largest Boating Expo

Milwaukee | Zach Lisko

Nestled along the scenic shores of Lake Michigan, Milwaukee has long been a boating hub. As a thriving waterfront urban center, it draws summer crowds seeking nautical fun. The annual Milwaukee Boat Show, Wisconsin’s largest boating exposition, offers enthusiasts a prime opportunity to gear up for the upcoming 2024 boating season. It will be at the Expo Center at State Fair Park from January 19th to 21st and 24th to 28th. Expected to attract sizable crowds, the state’s biggest city offers a can’t-miss boating experience.

This event will feature more than 300 boats, available for purchase from over 80 vendors. The selection includes motor yachts, runabouts, fishing rigs, pontoons, ski and surf boats, and more. Having vendors present to discuss the watercraft adds significant value, allowing attendees to explore a wide variety of options in one convenient location.

It’s not just boats that will be on sale at this event. Numerous other water-related products and services will be on display, such as accessories, fishing gear, and marine electronics. While the show takes place during the frosty Milwaukee winter, it is an excellent place to find everything you might need to ensure that your summer on the water in 2024 is the best one yet.

Several entertaining features make this event ideal for the whole family. Twiggy, the water-skiing squirrel, will perform daily from the 24th to the 28th, promising quite the spectacle. Also, an antique and classic boat display will allow visitors to admire stunning historical watercraft. Attendees also have the opportunity to climb aboard various vessels, ensuring an unforgettable experience.

The Milwaukee Boat Show also serves as an educational platform with seminars scheduled throughout the event. These sessions cover a range of important boating topics such as safety, sustainability, and expert tips. It offers an ideal opportunity to learn fascinating tricks of the trade, including strategies to improve your fishing output.

Tickets to the Milwaukee Boat Show are currently available online, priced at $12 for adults and $5 for children aged six to 14. Children five and under can enter for free.
