On Thursday, May 9th, the Myrtle Beach Classic kicks off at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this championship golf course provides spectators with a stunning backdrop for the tournament. Notably, this year marks Myrtle Beach’s very first PGA Tour event.

The 2024 tournament carries a purse of $3.9 million and expects to attract nearly 10,000 attendees. With 132 players competing on the 18-hole golf course, the stakes are high for securing the coveted 300 FedEx Cup points awarded to the winner. The action begins with the first round on Thursday, followed by subsequent rounds on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Additional events include a performance by the U.S. Army Golden Nights Skydivers on Thursday, Family Day on Saturday, Mother’s Day Activities on Sunday, and Concerts on the Ocean Lawn on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.

Daily grounds access starts at $35, with access for the week available for $240. Military personnel and first responders receive a 25% discount, while children ages 15 and under can attend free of charge with a ticketed adult.

Prospective attendees also have the option to purchase hospitality tickets, providing them with complimentary refreshments and exclusive views from areas such as the 17 Green Suites, Club 17, or Cabanas on 17. If you prefer to tune in from home, the event will stream live on Peacock and Paramount+.

Proceeds from this year’s Myrtle Beach Classic will benefit several charities, including the Children’s Recovery Center, Project Golf, and the Boys & Girls Club of the Grand Strand.
