The Annual Masters Tournament: Golf’s Prestigious Event on Augusta’s Greens Coming This April

Masters Tournament at Augusta | Danny E. Hooks

From Thursday, April 11th to Sunday, April 14th, the annual Masters Tournament will take place on the Augusta National Golf Course. This prestigious championship carries a purse of $18,000,000, headlining both the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour. Once the tournament officially begins, viewers will have the exciting opportunity to follow the Masters Leader Board in real time.

The 2024 roster of esteemed players includes several former Masters champions, such as Fred Couples, Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, Patrick Reed, and last year’s winner, Jon Rahm. Also, spectators can anticipate the presence of U.S. and British Open champions from 2019 to 2023, including Wyndham Clark, Brian Harman, Bryson DeChambeau, and Cameron Smith.

At 2 p.m. on April 10th, tune in to Masters.com to view a live stream of the annual Par 3 Contest. This lighthearted tradition features players competing in a 9-hole contest on the Par 3 course at Augusta National Golf Club, often with family members or celebrities as caddies. It’s known for its relaxed atmosphere but holds a superstition as no winner has ever won both the Par 3 Contest and the Masters Tournament in the same year.

While individual tickets for the tournament have already been allocated to patrons, golf fans eager to catch the action live can do so free of charge via multiple channels on Masters.com. These channels will be live on air once the Masters Tournament officially begins.
