The 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival Presents Another Incredible Lineup

While visitors flock to the sun-soaked Coachella Valley throughout the year, one defining event outshines the rest. This globally renowned event attracts hundreds of thousands of attendees for two unforgettable weekends. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, commonly known as Coachella, is one of the world’s most iconic music festivals, and this year brings another stacked lineup. 

Established in 1999, Coachella has since risen to become arguably the world’s most illustrious music festival. Every year, it draws more than 200,000 attendees and lures top talent from the music industry to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Its desert location exudes a distinct ambiance, complemented by large-scale art exhibitions dotting the grounds. The broad range of genres highlighted at the event captivates music enthusiasts of all tastes.

This year, Coachella adheres to its traditional two-weekend format. The first weekend spans from April 12th to 14th, followed by the second weekend from April 19th to 21st. Both weekends include nearly identical lineups, with a few varied performances. 

The festival’s musical lineup has been announced, showcasing yet another ensemble of world-class talent. Lana Del Rey; Tyler, the Creator; and Doja Cat will headline the event, and over 100 additional musicians are slated to perform. Also, Gwen Stefani will be joining her former bandmates to perform as No Doubt for the first time since 2015.

Other artists performing include Ice Spice, J Balvin, Dom Dolla, John Summit, Lil Yachty, Jhené Aiko, Lil Uzi Vert, and Peso Pluma. Performances will unfold across several stages, including the Quasar stage. New this year, the Quasar stage will feature extended three-hour sets across both weekends by international artists such as Rüfüs Du Sol, Diplo, and Michael Bibi.

Coachella is an expansive event, offering far more than just music. The festival curates an extraordinary experience by incorporating a variety of additional arts experiences. An immense art showcase will feature awe-inspiring, large-scale installations created by talented global artists and architects. And the roster of attractions includes dance competitions and art studios, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Attendees can indulge in delectable offerings from an assortment of food and drink vendors, ranging from craft cocktails and breweries to taco stands and noodle bars. 

While Coachella passes for Weekend 1 have sold out, Weekend 2 passes remain available online. Ticket prices are tiered, so purchase early to save. Tier-one general admission tickets start at $499, VIP tickets start at $1,069, and various add-ons and bundles are also available for purchase.
