Stunning beaches, pristine white sand, and thrilling outdoor recreation opportunities define Hawaii’s glowing reputation. These characteristics make the state an ideal setting for the upcoming Sony Open event early next year. The Sony Open in Hawaii, an annual golf tournament, holds a prestigious place in both the PGA Tour and the FedEx Cup Series.

The Waialae Country Club, in Honolulu, will host the event from January 8th to January 14th. Starting on the 11th, when the first round begins, attendees will get to see 144 of the best golf players compete on the island of Oahu.

Established in November 1965, originally known as the Hawaiian Open, the Sony Open in Hawaii has evolved into a decades-long tradition. Consistently providing attendees with a great place to watch golf while surrounded by breathtaking scenery, this event attracts a global audience every year.

Every day brings something new to enjoy. On Monday, January 8th, the Tournament Blessing will start off the event, followed by the Dream Cup Pro-Am and Monday Pro-Am. Then, Tuesday kicks off at 8 a.m. with professional practice rounds.

On Wednesday, Sony Open attendees will see the Official Pro-Am at 7 a.m., and the Satellite Pro-Am is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. at the Hoakalei Country Club.

The first, second, and third rounds of the Sony Open in Hawaii will kick off on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings, respectively. On Sunday, the tournament concludes with the final round, followed by the culminating Awards Ceremony.

Admission to the Sony Open is free on Monday and Tuesday. However, from Wednesday to Sunday, tickets are required to enter. Season Badges, providing access for the entire week, are available for $100, and daily tickets cost $40. The Sweet 16 Chalet Hospitality Passes cost $265 on Thursday or Friday and $290 on Saturday or Sunday. With these hospitality passes, you’ll get access to fine dining, wonderful views of the Pacific Ocean, and four separate rounds of golf.

Members of the U.S. military, their dependents, and veterans with a valid ID receive complimentary admission for the duration of the entire event. And children 15 and under who attend with an adult will be admitted for free.
