Lexus Unveils First-Ever Superyacht

Extending 65 feet in length, the LY 650 will go on sale for just under $4 million. As the first luxury boat created by the renowned automobile company, it features a sleek black design with brushes of bronze accents. This design is perfect for the luxury boat lover.

Also, boaters will be happy to hear that this Lexus model will also be available for purchase in five other colors.

The interior design features white leather seats embedded with the classic Lexus logo as well as white leather interior doors for the utmost luxury.

Additionally, there are three decks throughout the ship. The main deck features a salon with three staterooms underneath that can sleep up to six people. These rooms include sleek and plush rounded platform beds and horizontal windows. Meanwhile, the top deck includes the secondary controls.

Each bedroom includes a floating-vessel sink crafted from the smoked glass as well as private showers. Other design features include teak decking on the swim platform, cock- pit, side deck walkways, and eucalyptus details throughout the interior.

Josh Delfurge, Marquis Yacht’s Vice President of Design and Engineering said, “It isn’t just the word Lexus everywhere but in every room, there’s a special ‘Lexus’ touch.”

Developed and built alongside Marquis Yachts, the hull boasts a high-tech design constructed with lightweight but strong material—carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic and glass fiber-reinforced plastic.

The LY 650 also happens to powered by two Volvo Penta IPS1350 marine engines—1,000 horsepower each.

One of the many incredible features on this yacht is an LY-link smartphone wireless system that allows whoever’s operating the boat full control over the boat functions and uses real-time information to help navigation.
