Situated near several bayous, rivers, and bays, including many that lead out to the Gulf of Mexico, Houston is ideal for boating enthusiasts. Houston has many harbors and marinas throughout the city and its surrounding areas, making getting onto open water easy. Houston is also a hub for car lovers, with long winding highways and vast open streets for cruising around. Boat and car lovers in Houston will rejoice at the news that the 2023 AutoBoative show is set to return in January. This is a combination of both the Houston Auto Show and the Houston Boat Show, and will be a thrilling and exciting event.

This will be the second year in a row that the automotive and boat shows have combined for a single spectacular event. With just one ticket, visitors can access both of these amazing shows.

Whether coming for the boats or the cars, there is much to enjoy at the Houston AutoBoative Show. This massive event lasts from January 23rd to January 29th and includes some of the biggest names in the boating and land vehicle industries. It takes place at the NRG Center, a massive convention center offering more than 700,000 square feet of exhibition space, and much of that space is used to host vehicles, vendors, attractions, and more.

At the boat show, more than 200 vendors showcase the latest and greatest in boating innovation. Many different boats will be offered at excellent prices. Vendors will debut new models and vehicles, selling their products at discounted show prices. Aside from boats, there is water sports gear, fishing equipment, and safety devices, making it a one-stop shop for all boating needs.

On the vehicle side, there is a large presence from major brands, including Jeep, Ford, Ram, and more. These businesses also show off their newest models, and even have test drive tracks, allowing attendees to get behind the wheel of some of the newest and most popular car models. RV models are also spotlighted, as well as an array of different equipment sales.

This event isn’t just about shopping for new vehicles and gear. The Houston AutoBoative Show also doubles as a unique educational experience. There are seminars, product demonstrations, and much more. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will host sessions on various subjects, including boating safety. Experts in fishing, driving, and the like are on hand for exhibitions and panel discussions. Many of the vendors at this event are seasoned professionals that can offer informative one-to-one discussions.

There are numerous fun attractions to delight visitors of all ages. The Fish-O-Rama booth is an ideal way to introduce children to the fun of fishing. Kids can visit a large pool filled with rainbow trout and be guided through casting and reeling, inspiring their enjoyment for the future. A one-day general admission ticket for adults is available online for $20.
