Get Ready for the 2024 Grammy Awards

If you’re a music enthusiast, you’re in for a treat with the upcoming 66th annual Grammy Awards. Taking place on Sunday, February 4th, from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Eastern, the 2024 Grammy Awards show will unfold at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. Trevor Noah will host this annual event for the fourth consecutive year. 

This year introduces three new Grammy nomination categories: Best Pop Dance Recording, Best African Music Performance, and Best Alternative Jazz Album. On top of that, the general nomination categories include Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, and dozens more.

Renowned artists such as Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Ice Spice, and Jon Batiste are among this year’s nominees. But the one to watch is SZA, topping 2024’s list of contenders with nine nominations. Her album SOS is nominated for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Progressive R&B Album. “Kill Bill” is in the running for Song of the Year, while “Snooze” is up for Best R&B Song. And several other songs from her album have earned nominations across various performance categories. 

Those eager to watch the Grammy Awards can tune in to CBS or stream the show live and on-demand on Paramount+. In addition to the award presentations, viewers can look forward to performances from Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Olivia Rodrigo. 

This year, the Recording Academy is extending an opportunity for the general public to attend the 2024 Grammy Awards in person. To be considered, interested individuals can submit their information online, subscribe to the Grammy newsletter, and follow the Recording Academy’s TikTok and Instagram accounts. Five lucky winners will each receive two Grammy Awards tickets.

Applicants have until Tuesday, January 30th, at 9 p.m. Eastern to enter. The Recording Academy will contact the winners by Wednesday, January 31st.
