Greenville, a charming community surrounded by natural beauty in South Carolina’s Upstate region, thrives as a popular year-round destination. However, the Fall for Greenville festival makes the town truly shine during the autumn season. This major event attracts crowds of visitors to the city for a weekend of dining, music, and unforgettable experiences.

Downtown Greenville hosts Fall for Greenville, an annual celebration that ushers in the autumn season with communal excitement and a vibrant atmosphere. The town will block off streets to create an expansive area where residents can stroll around at their leisure. This year’s festivities will take place from October 13th to 15th, but it all begins with the Thursday Night Kick-Off Concert on the 12th.

The festival will feature several key components, catering to visitors with varying interests. It will provide food, drink, music, and experiences. So come hungry and be ready to enjoy a beautiful day outdoors. Autumn in Greenville is typically pleasant and mild, allowing you to comfortably stroll through the downtown area.

Fall for Greenville will feature more than 80 live musical acts across the weekend. Local and national performers will showcase their talents, spanning genres from country and hip-hop to jazz and rock. The festival also caters to families with children through the AAA Kids’ Area, offering rides and activities suitable for all ages.

Foodies definitely won’t want to miss this grand occasion. Fall for Greenville gathers numerous world-class food vendors, who will offer an array of culinary delights, from ribs and barbecue to Mexican and Indian cuisine. The festival hosts food competitions, awarding prizes to vendors serving the tastiest treats.

Attendees 21 and older can indulge in a variety of delicious beverages at Fall for Greenville. The Spinx Beer Garden will feature a selection of over 50 local, regional, and national craft beers, available for tastings or full pours. If beer is not your preference, the GSP International Airport Wine Garden will offer a range of locally and globally renowned wine varietals, along with flavored cocktails.

Fall for Greenville is free to attend, but you need tickets to enjoy the food, drinks, and rides. Attendees 21 and older must purchase a wristband for each day they plan to consume alcohol. Taste Tickets, which are also redeemable for festival merchandise, cost five dollars for a sheet of five, and the daily wristbands are one dollar.
