From Thursday, April 25th to Sunday, May 5th, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will bring crowds to the Fair Grounds Race Course.

In addition to traditional jazz, the festival will feature performances spanning a wide range of other genres, such as Cajun, gospel, R&B, country, and blues. Among the confirmed artists in this year’s expansive lineup are The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Queen Latifah, Chris Stapleton, Irma Thomas, and Earth, Wind & Fire.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival pays tribute to New Orleans’s renowned diversity and artistic flair, with areas on the grounds dedicated to the many influences that have shaped Louisiana’s culture today. One area is dedicated to Louisiana folklife, and another centers on the state’s indigenous peoples. A cultural exchange area features crafts, food, and performances representing specific countries such as Haiti, Brazil, and South Africa. Other areas at the festival, such as the Louisiana Marketplace, feature a variety of crafts to browse. Also, the Food Heritage Stage spotlights the state’s cuisine with demonstrations from some of the top local chefs.

General admission tickets for a single day start at $85, while children can attend the festivities for just $5. For adults seeking a more immersive experience, three- or four-day tickets are available starting at $270.
