Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 18th, to Sunday, May 19th, as downtown Raleigh comes alive with Artsplosure – The Raleigh Arts Festival. Artsplosure will feature over 175 creative talents exhibiting and selling their unique works of art at the event’s Art Market. Expect an eclectic array of paintings, woodwork, jewelry, pottery, photography, and more on display.
Adding to the excitement of Artsplosure are live music performances, captivating art installations along Fayetteville Street, and engaging arts and crafts activities for kids. At Kidsplosure, children can partake in weaving, foam-soap printing, paper marbling, and other delightful surprises.
Creativity is the central theme of Artsplosure, with this year’s impressive lineup of visionary works spanning 2D and 3D art, alongside digital and tech-based creations. Attendees are encouraged to engage with artists, learn about their creative processes, and show support by purchasing their artwork.
Refreshments will be available for purchase from various food trucks throughout Artsplosure. For those 21 and over, cold beers will be conveniently sold near the performance stage on Fayetteville Street.
