The Zurich Classic of New Orleans, a renowned golf tournament and the only PGA Tour event hosted in southeast Louisiana, is set to take place from Monday, April 21st, to Sunday, April 27th. The event will be held at the acclaimed TPC Louisiana in Avondale and is presented by Zurich Insurance Group. This 87th edition of the tournament is highly anticipated by golfers and fans alike.

With its origins dating back to 1938, the Zurich Classic holds a significant place in golf history. Initially established in Baton Rouge, the tournament has grown into one of the premier events on the PGA Tour. It is particularly distinguished by its innovative team format, which alternates between best ball and foursomes rounds, offering a unique experience for participants and spectators alike. Over the years, the tournament has consistently showcased top-tier talent and provided exciting competition, solidifying its reputation in the golfing world.

This year’s Zurich Classic is set to feature some of the best players in the sport, including defending champions Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry. Starting at $185, these tickets offer a luxurious way to enjoy the action. Additionally, active military members with valid credentials will be granted free admission from Wednesday through Sunday. Children ages 15 and under can also attend free when accompanied by a ticketed adult, making it a family-friendly event.
