Upcoming Snowmass Wine Festival is a Food and Wine Lover’s Dream

Snowmass Village is one of the top Colorado tourist destinations throughout the year. In the winter, it is a haven for skiers and snowboarders, with Aspen Snowmass ranking among the top ski resorts in the state. The forests and mountainous settings in the summer make it ideal for hiking, biking, and outdoor exploration. But in mid-September, tourists flock to Snowmass Village for a different reason: the Snowmass Wine Festival.

The Snowmass Wine Festival is an exciting annual occasion hosted by the Rotary Club of Snowmass. It brings wine producers, gourmet restaurants, and a large crowd of food and drink lovers to Snowmass Village. Attendees will get to sample wine from a huge supply of local, national, and international wineries and food from some of the state’s top restaurants.

The Snowmass Wine Festival takes place from September 16th-17th, and each day offers a different event centered on wine and gourmet food. The first day of the festival will be at the Viceroy Snowmass, while the second day will be at Snowmass Town Park. This event is 21+, and no children or dogs are allowed on the premises.

The Snowmass Wine Festival will feature some of the top wineries and distilleries worldwide. The list of wineries that will be present is extensive and exciting. More than a dozen wine producers will bring an array of different vintages for people to sample.

The Snowmass Wine Festival is an excellent opportunity for those trying to learn more about wine production and gain familiarity with different wineries. Each vineyard offering samples at the Snowmass Wine Festival will have representatives present to tell the stories of how the drinks have been created and offer insights into the business. Several distilleries will be at the event if wine isn’t your drink of choice. Seven distilleries have been announced for the Snowmass Wine Festival, each offering high-quality liquors and seltzers. There will be vodka, tequila, rum, and more, so even if wine isn’t your speed, there will still be much to sample at this event.

The Snowmass Wine Festival will also be a fine dining experience. 17 distinguished local eateries will have booths and food available. The cuisines range from Thai and Mexican food to Italian and diner-style, all made from highly-rated local restaurants with specially curated menus.

Tickets for the Snowmass Wine Festival depend on which event you wish to attend. Friday’s event is the Wine Dinner. At this event, some of the finest chefs in Colorado will prepare a gourmet four-course meal with delicious seafood and fowl dishes. Of course, plenty of wine samples will be available throughout the night. Tickets to this dinner cost $175 per person.

On Saturday comes the Grand Tasting event. This is the conventional festival, featuring all the wineries, distilleries, and restaurants. There will be live music, a silent auction, and excellent food and drink. Tickets for the Grand Tasting are $115 online or $125 at the gate. The event’s proceeds go to various local and international charitable causes.

The Snowmass Wine Festival is a major occasion that is one of the defining events of early fall in Snowmass Village. It will bring numerous wineries, distilleries, and restaurants to two of the most picturesque venues in the region for a night and day of fun and festivities.
