The 49th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), presented by Rogers, will light up Toronto from September 5th to 15th, marking another grand celebration of cinema.
Renowned for its global prestige, TIFF attracts some of the film industry’s most distinguished figures, including actors Ben Stiller, Vanessa Kirby, and Hyun Bin, as well as directors Ron Howard, Woo Min-ho, and David Gordon Green, among others.
This year’s festival promises an extraordinary lineup, with films screening across Toronto’s premier theaters. Highlights include TIFF Docs, showcasing authentic and unscripted non-fiction cinema; Centrepiece, offering diverse global perspectives; TIFF Classics, featuring 4K-restored Canadian and international classics; and Gala Presentations, presenting some of the year’s most anticipated films.

Eden: A historical thriller set on a previously uninhabited island in the Galápagos, where two high-minded Europeans seeking a new life are confronted with the stark realization that hell is indeed other people.
Harbin: This historical spy-thriller follows an activist and political assassin who must eliminate Japan’s notorious leader of wolves, weaving a tale of relentless pursuit and dangerous alliances in a battle for freedom.
Nutcrackers: In a heartwarming fish-out-of-water comedy, a city slicker is thrust into the rural wilderness to care for a quartet of mischievous orphans, discovering hidden talents and the true meaning of family in the most unexpected of places.
The Wild Robot: In a captivating sci-fi adventure, a robot designed to assist humans finds itself stranded on an island inhabited solely by beasts, leading to an extraordinary journey of survival and self-discovery amidst the wild.
