The Empire Suite in Four Seasons Hotel New York

Four Seasons New York Downtown is located in the heart of Tribeca and is the perfect central stay for a Manhattan getaway. The Royal Suite was the central VIP suite of the hotel. In November 2020, it underwent a redesign by Tara Bernerd & Partners and emerged as the Empire Suite, the ultimate New York City VIP lifestyle experience.

The Empire Suite offers unmatched views of the city and takes up half of the 24th floor of the building. With over 2,400 square feet of space, it is a stunning getaway for the rich and famous visiting the city that never sleeps. Bernerd designed the space with the well-traveled, design-conscious guest in mind and used the space’s natural advantages more to its favor.

The room is built around the incredible 360-degree view of the city it provides, and the new design sets out to maximize the natural lighting and gorgeous cityscape surrounding it. It also uses a subtle but elegant palette that gives it a comfortable look and feel.

The Hari Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a densely populated city with different areas, each with distinct feels. The Hari Hotel has set its second location in Wan Chai, a rising neighborhood in Hong Kong known for its nightlife and chic restaurants. The Hari Hong Kong follows the success of Hari London but brings unique differences to blend in with its new settings.

Tara Bernerd & Partners designed the entirety of the new hotel, from the lobby to the restaurants to the suites. The reception and lobby have a modern twist on the rustic look with timber floors and walls combined with a marble welcoming table. Much of the furniture in the lobby and reception area is bespoke and exclusively designed for the hotel.

The suites are described as masculine and edgy while welcoming all at once. The timber wall theme continues up to the suites, and there is a variety of warm palette colors of velvet furniture that contrast the darker colors. The rooms offer unparalleled views of the larger city.

The rooms and suites have a modern west coast look to them, with a light color palette as welcoming and bright as the city it resides in. The lobby has the timber and granite look of the Hari Hotel, but with essential L.A twist. The wall is lined with large photographs and art pieces that call to mind the city’s unmatched art history, and the large open windows bring in the natural sunny lighting only L.A can provide.
