
On Wednesday, June 5th, the Tribeca Film Festival will begin in New York City. Celebrating creative storytelling across various mediums, this 11-day event honors artists from across the world through premieres, exhibitions, talks, and live performances.
Filmmakers and musicians, along with creators of animated features, augmented reality experiences, games, audio storytelling, and more, will be showcasing their work. The 2024 on-screen lineup features acclaimed actors like Dakota Johnson, Neil Patrick Harris, Lily Gladstone, and others. Attendees can also look forward to screenings from directors Andrew McCarthy, Michael Angarano, among others, alongside thought-provoking discussions on topics such as democracy, artificial intelligence, and crafting a brighter future for the world.
The 2024 Tribeca Film Festival distinguishes itself with the world premiere of the documentary Diane von Furstenberg: Woman in Charge on June 5th, paying tribute to von Furstenberg’s influential role in fashion and the feminist movement.
Also highly anticipated, De Niro Con is a weekend celebration of Robert De Niro’s career, featuring special appearances by his collaborators, screenings, talks, an immersive exhibit, and themed experiences honoring his iconic roles.
The festival’s lineup also includes multiple feature films and music documentaries. Firebrand, Sacramento, and Winter Spring Summer or Fall are eagerly awaited films, while Linda Perry: Let It Die Here, Satisfied, and They All Came Out to Montreux celebrate musical contributions throughout different eras. Following the premieres of their respective films, stars Linda Perry and Renée Elise Goldsberry will perform live.
