Orlando Boat Show Returns For Another Spectacular Boating Showcase

While Orlando isn’t situated along the coast, this city and its surrounding region remain incredibly popular among freshwater boaters due to its huge surrounding network of lakes. The deeply-embedded boating culture of Orlando and the Central Florida area is celebrated every year at the Orlando Boat Show, which returns this March as Central Florida’s premier boat show.

The Orlando Boat Show is a massive boating event where many vendors show off incredible boats and boating equipment for sale at great prices. There will be more than 400 boats featured at this event, with 19 boating dealers representing more than 80 manufacturers. It will be an excellent opportunity to compare prices on boats ranging in size, all in one place.

This year’s Orlando Boat Show will be held from March 17th-19th at the Orange County Convention Center in West Hall C and D. Because it will be an indoor event, attendees won’t get to see the boats on the water, but they can closely investigate these watercrafts in person to get a sense of whether or not they are right for them. Attendees can also learn about the boats displayed from expert vendors. There will also be seminars from leading industry professionals presenting unique educational opportunities.

Fans of water sports will recognize four-time X Game gold medalist Danny Harf, who will be providing seminars throughout the event. This is a great place to learn about events, etiquette, and equipment for Central Florida residents. There will also be a Fishing Zone, which includes a selection of fresh and saltwater fishing tackles, lures, and accessories—all the equipment needed to prepare for a big 2023 year of fishing. And an exciting virtual saltwater fishing simulator will allow anglers to virtually haul in a bull dolphin.

The Orlando Boat Show additionally has family-friendly activities designed to foster a love for boating in the younger generation. The Hook the Future Fishing Clinic from Captain Dingman is an educational experience designed to teach children the ropes of fishing, and at the end of each clinic, kids get a free rod and reel to take home. There will also be a caricature artist that will draw pictures of attendees’ children in boats and a pond where kids 12 and under can haul in a live trout. And no one can forget an appearance from Twiggy, the water-skiing squirrel, who will showcase his rare talents at this event.

Tickets for the Orlando Boat Show are available online or may be purchased on-site with a credit card. Adult tickets cost $10 per day and children 12 and under enter for free.
