One Thousand Museum, the innovative architectural project envisioned by prestigious architect, Zaha Hadid, is set to be completed by March 2019. The project began in 2013 yet Hadid’s passing in March 2016, lead to uncertainty about the future of the project. However, Zaha Hadid Architects was committed to seeing Hadid’s residential skyscraper to completion.
The 62-story condo tower was Hadid’s first residential tower in the United States and is currently the fourth tallest building in Miami. According to the building’s sales director, Harvey Daniels of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, the building is 82 percent sold and contains 83 units.
Hadid is renowned for her architectural style composed of buildings that push the limits of innovation and meticulously blend art and architecture. Based in London, Zaha Hadid Architects has designed several other high-profile properties such as the London Aquatics Centre for the 2012 Summer Olympics, the Guangzhou Opera House, and the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum.
The development team includes Louis Birdman, Gregg Covin, Todd Michael Glaser, Kevin Venger, Gilberto Bomeny and Regalia Group.
