We sat down with Oksana to discuss her career, how she’s been able to find success, and what the future might hold.

Haven: What inspired you to become a realtor? What is your favorite part of your job?

Oksana: I was drawn to this profession because I enjoy working with people and am passionate about real estate. I was looking for a challenging and dynamic career.

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a realtor is helping clients achieve their goals, whether that means finding their dream home, selling their property quickly and for a fair price, or negotiating a complex real estate transaction. Realtors are often able to help clients navigate what can be a confusing and stressful process, and the satisfaction of successfully guiding them through it can be very fulfilling.

Another highlight of the job for me is the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people, including other real estate agents, clients, and service providers. Building relationships and networking are important parts of being a successful realtor, and I really enjoy the social aspect of the job.

Overall, the real estate industry can be a rewarding and exciting career for those who are passionate about real estate and enjoy working with people.

Haven: What do you think allows you to be so successful?

Oksana: Strong communication skills, both in person and in writing, enable me to listen to my client’s needs and concerns, explain complex real estate concepts clearly, and negotiate effectively with other parties. I have a deep understanding of the local real estate market, including property values, trends, and zoning regulations, which enable me to provide my clients with valuable advice and guidance.

I am detail-oriented and organized. I also manage multiple tasks and deadlines and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks, as real estate transactions involve a lot of paperwork and legal requirements. Real estate transactions can be complex and time-consuming, so to be a successful realtor, I need to be persistent and determined.

Being a successful realtor requires a combination of knowledge, skills, and personality traits. The best realtors can combine these qualities to provide their clients with exceptional service and help them achieve their real estate goals.

Haven: What are your core priorities and values that guide you in your work?

Oksana: My core priorities include providing exceptional customer service to my clients, being knowledgeable about the local real estate market and trends, and having strong communication and negotiation skills. I prioritize building relationships with my clients and creating a positive experience for them throughout the buying or selling process.

As for values, honesty, integrity, and professionalism are crucial to my success. I always act in the best interest of my clients and be transparent about any potential conflicts of interest. Additionally, treating all clients with respect and equality is essential in creating a positive reputation and fostering long-term relationships.

My main goal is to help my clients achieve their real estate objectives and ensure a smooth and successful transaction. The real estate industry is constantly evolving, and realtors must adapt to changes in technology, regulations, and market conditions to continue to succeed.

Haven: Where do you see your work going from here? How do you hope to see your career build, evolve, or develop?

Oksana: Some of the trends that may impact the future of real estate include the increased use of virtual and augmented reality in property listings and showings, the continued growth of e-commerce and online marketplaces, and the rise of sustainable and eco-friendly building practices.

I need to continue to focus on building strong relationships with my clients and providing exceptional customer service to differentiate myself in a competitive market. Overall, the future of real estate is likely to involve a combination of traditional practices and innovative approaches, and I will need to stay informed and adaptable to continue to succeed in this dynamic field. I seek to continuously improve my skills and knowledge through ongoing training, education, and professional development.

To evolve my career, I will look to embrace new technologies, marketing strategies, and business models that are emerging in the industry. I also seek to diversify my services or niches within the real estate market, such as specializing in luxury properties or working with international clients. I will also search for opportunities to give back to my community.
