“I am loving the newest trend in maximalism… say goodbye to minimalism!.. A highly decorative look with an evolved look utilizing various patterns and textures. I especially love the return of traditional elements mixed with contemporary styling and classic modern elements. It makes for an interesting and unique decor reflective of individual tastes and style. The room depicted in this image embraces the concept of the art of the mix combining characteristically unlikely elements in a seemingly cohesiveness that makes the viewer look with wonder and intrigue.”

“My favorite trend for the summer is UNEXPECTED COLOR. Warm and fun color in unexpected places is a welcome change. I started with the red retro fridge and then painted the cabinets a lovely teal color. Retro and reclaimed details and pops of red were used throughout.”

“As a kitchen designer, I believe that natural light is an essential part of an overall design plan. So I’m loving the trend of large, over-scaled windows in kitchens. If you can afford to sacrifice the storage space, natural light and a beautiful view can give your kitchen life!’’
