The singer, talk show host and coach on “The Voice” once shared the mansion with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.

Kelly Clarkson’s sprawling 10,108 square foot Encino mansion in California has finally sold for $8.24 million, $260,000 less than its purchase price and over $0.75 million less than the asking price. The property has been on the market for the past 17 months, having been listed in May 2020.

Clarkson’s Encino mansion was listed for $9.995 million with Compass’ Chris Corkum and Lisa Brende. A month after its listing, on the back of rumors that Clarkson, 39, had filed for divorce, the listing page reverted to “withdrawn/cancelled.” In February this year, it was reported that the mansion had once again been relisted for $8.995 million.

Property records now indicate Clarkson’s Encino mansion has been sold officially for $8.24 million through the same realtors.

According to the records, Clarkson acquired the mansion for $8.5 million in June 2018 and paid for it in the same year so she takes a $260,000 hit in the sale. The purchase came five years after her marriage to her now ex-husband.

The latest sale comes only a few months after she offloaded her 20,000-square-foot Tennessee mansion for $6.3 million. The singer has been on a selling spree this year but she has also chalked up some property.

Though she is offloading one mega California property, the three-time Grammy Award winner will still remain a California homeowner following her purchase of 5,000 square feet, five-bedroom, Colonial-style home for $5.445 million which is located a few minutes to the east in Toluca Lake. Compared to her two old mega mansions in California and Tennessee, the singer has downsized a bit with her latest purchase.
