New York City is known as the cosmopolitan epicenter of media, culture, and entertainment, making it the perfect destination for Frieze New York. From Wednesday, May 7 to Sunday, May 11, this annual art fair will take place at The Shed, located at 545 West 30th Street in Hudson Yards.
Frieze New York was first founded in 2012 when attendees gathered on Randall’s Island to admire the creativity of more than 180 galleries. In the years to come, this international fair’s celebration of innovation and contemporary artwork made it one of America’s most significant and highly anticipated events.
Next month, Frieze New York will feature approximately 70 of the world’s premier art galleries with solo exhibitions, dynamic activations, powerful collaborations, and much more. Among the most highly anticipated returns are Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel, A Gentil Carioca, and The Modern Institute, with Frieze New York Director Christine Messineo overseeing the event.
Over the course of this five-day art fair, attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in modern art and installations, explore contemporary trends, and engage in riveting conversations with influential leaders of the art world.
Be sure to explore the Focus section, showcasing solo presentations by emerging and under-recognized artists from today’s leading young galleries. Sponsored by Stone Island, this section doesn’t just highlight rising talent — it also gives Frieze New York attendees the chance to experience diverse, inspiring contemporary art in real time.
Tickets for Frieze New York are going quickly, with early bird options already sold out. Tickets can be purchased online.
