Grammy Award-winning DJ and music producer David Guetta recently made headlines with the sale of his Miami Beach condo at the Setai Miami Beach for $16 million. The sale set a new record, becoming the most expensive condo sold in Miami Beach on a per-square-foot basis, at $6,337 per square foot.

Guetta originally purchased the 2,500-square-foot condo, located on the 37th floor of the Setai Miami Beach, in 2018 for $9.5 million. The unit, which features three bedrooms and three bathrooms, offers sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and downtown Miami. The condo’s interior design emphasizes clean lines, with a neutral white palette that complements the floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic vistas.

The Setai Miami Beach, built in 2005, is a 40-story luxury tower with over 160 units. It is known for its extensive high-end amenities, including three temperature-controlled infinity pools, a spa, and private beachfront cabanas. The property also offers a range of dining options and full-service concierge services.

This record-breaking sale aligns with a broader trend of high-end real estate activity in Miami Beach, particularly among celebrities and ultra-wealthy buyers. Guetta, known for hits like “Titanium” and “Without You,” has been active in Miami’s luxury real estate scene for years. His decision to sell the condo comes as he reportedly went under contract to purchase a 1.2-acre estate in Indian Creek Village, a private enclave home to high-profile residents. The Indian Creek property is said to include 118 feet of waterfront and had a listing price of $69 million.
