Things to Do in Worcester County

One of the attractions that bring in the most visitors is the famed Worcester Art Museum. This major institution houses over 35,000 works of art dating back millennia all the way to modern creations. There is everything from displays of armor to opulent Renaissance paintings.

Old Sturbridge Village is a living museum in Sturbridge intended to recreate what life would’ve been like in the New England area at the dawn of the 19th century. It includes real buildings dating back to that era and costumed actors that serve as guides to the past.

For outdoor lovers, head to Mount Wachusett, near Princeton and Westminster. This is a large mountain that, in the summer, hosts hikers and, in the winter, serves as the primary ski destination in the area.
