When asked about his move and transition from Chicago to Florida, he says, “That move was quite a while ago to help support my widowed mother at the time. I’d been a medical student at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a physician leader with a Chicago area medical group also enjoying city and suburban life…and of course the great sports and food..not so much the weather!”
He continued by saying, “Having recently retired from full time direct patient care, I still maintain an active license and continue to learn. About 3 years ago, I expanded my Florida real estate interest completing a great real estate program, passing the Florida state license exam the first attempt to become a Realtor with Fine Properties in Sarasota, FL.”
Many of Herb’s friends, family, and colleagues live throughout the Tampa Bay and Naples area. Also, several of his former mid-western classmates and colleagues currently live in Florida, especially in the southwest region. He says that recent buyers state that it makes perfect sense to enjoy the many attributes the state has to offer, notwithstanding low taxes and sunny weather!
When asked about his thoughts on the current real estate market, Herbert commented “Sometimes it pays to wait..Now is NOT that time! Even though the social landscape is changing every day my dedication to you and your family has not.”
